Are scientific visitor centres radically different from other museums ? I thought so, until a MOOC offered by the University of Leicester & Liverpool Museum proved me wrong in 2018...
In particular when is comes to the role of emotions, on how people at work relate to the exhibit content, and of course when we bravely try to address the gap between the public's projections and what science and scientists really are. Next round started in April 2020

International : the ECSITE network organises great conferences and issues interesting news letters :
- In 2018 they came to Geneva/CERN to discuss Creative Collisions.
- In 2020 they moved ( as we all did ) to a free online program
- 2021 : will be online, brainstorming about new formats started
Française : AMSTI est le réseau professionnel des cultures scientifique, technique et industrielle
- Leur passionnant congrès 2020, sur la nouvelle donne de la CSTI, est en grande partie en ligne
- Le CCSTI (centre de culture scientifique, technique et industriel) de Haute Savoie est La Turbine
- le LAPP travaille avec eux à l'occasion de la Fête de la science, qu'ils pilotent pour le département.
