An ORIGIN exhibition was setup in a lovely historical building of the Split city center and open to the public in parallel with the LHC days conference, 17-22 September 2018.  Schools were invited by Croatian colleagues, for an exhibit tour and set of mini-workshops.  3 evening public talks and a round table were integrated in the conference program.

ATLAS is not represented in Croatia, where institutes have joined CMS and ALICE. But this conference was the first occasion to explore the "ATLAS in a Suitcase concept" and discuss its use and content with the scientists who kindly took "exhibit guide shifts", either as conference participants or local staff.

The results were presented to the ATLAS collaboration through a poster session. Experience gained lead to the transformation of the project into a wider scope described in the "Building blocks" section of this web site. Still, this Croatian experience was an unforgettable milestone.
